Nootka Wild Rose Hip Tea Powder ~6oz
The hips are harvested, rinsed, de-seeded, dried, and ground to powder. The powder is completely edible, and there are many ways to consume this medicinal tart. When making tea, I recommend pouring boiling water directly over the powder and letting it steep. Strain it into a drinking vessel and imbibe. The powder can be reused for a second and third cup.
The powder may also be added to dishes, desserts, yogurts, smoothies, and ice creams.
Rose hips, vitamin and mineral content make it effective at alleviating inflammation, calming the nervous system, and soothing and reviving the heart space.
The powder is sweet to the tongue, but when steeped for tea has a beautiful tart taste. Add Petal Honey (3-4 droppers full) to sweeten your cup of tea and drink a more full spectrum rose concoction.
